It’s been made clear that Covid is uniquely problematic for the already vulnerable many many times so to try to make the case that the death toll is exaggerated because of that holds very little water. It’s very clear that overall mortality rates have skyrocketed and in the United ****holes of America worse than anywhere else in the world. As usual.

I’m still guessing that it’s the second or third infection that really gets you. Either that or just less and more lethal strains going around. Maybe having had a less lethal strain provides temporary immunity until the more lethal strain hits. There’s no question that asymptomatic or nearly asymptomatic spread has been widespread. But why there’s so much death and criticals here and not there is hard to figure. The longer it’s been manifesting in your community the higher the likelihood of having gotten it twice if that’s how it works.

Maybe it was Louis Farrakhan. Or the Dalai Lama seeking revenge for Tibet.
