I see this as something that’s likely to rip rural America to shreds. Poor health to being with, ****tier hospitals and a tendency to subjected to federal neglect. Slower infection is still infection.

It's dumb as **** for them to do so. They have a population of ~10.5 million and 22,695 cases and 904 deaths.

That's a pretty high rate. For comparison:

Cali: ~39.5 million population, 41,137 cases, 1,651 deaths
Texas: ~30 million population, 23,773 cases, 623 deaths
Florida: ~21.5 million population, 30,893 cases, 1,055 deaths

Obviously didn't include ny cause they are ****ed beyond belief due to NYC.

It's so obvious in this case that even Trump backtracked and threw the Georgia governor under the bus and said he doesn't agree with it now.

For furthur comparison, North Korea has 0 recorded cases of coronavirus. Lucky for them really, as apparently their hospitals frequently have neither running water nor electricity.
