Being informed and being alarmed seem to be hard to adhere to right now. Journalism needs to start being more careful with these headlines.
Well on the other hand there’s no reason to assume that you get sick and you get better and that’s that which is a lot of what I’m reading assumes. Viruses are sneaky bastards. As I’ve expressed before, I think considering how little we actually know we’re being very nonchalant about letting it spread.

Early symptoms of HIV are easily ignored and then later down the line kabam.

Mild cases can escalate to lung scarring even in formerly healthy patients.

For all we know the virus can stay dormant in asymptomatic people for we don’t ****ing know how long. It could be just hanging around until your immune system starts to slip. At this point everything about it is basically a guess.

Since almost all the really rich people are older they’d probably use it as an excuse to make you a permanent frontline slave. All workers would have to organize and be willing to strike in order for people to be able to capitalize on their immunity and if they weren’t before why would they be after?

Did you see any of the idiot trump brigade out protesting against containing the virus? I heard they were out in force on This Week.

that'd be nuts
Do you mean the antibody test?

There's so much we still have to learn from this thing. I'm not claiming something is one way or the other but the article linked had a headline that said "Coronavirus may cause lasting damage throughout body, doctors fear" but the article itself was specifically talking about the seriously ill patients. People don't read. They see that headline and automatically they're telling people that if they get it they're f*cked which we know isn't the case for certain. People WILL believe they're f*cked no matter what if they get the virus which may ring true for some but right now does not ring true for most.

I'm just calling for better headline writing, really.

Better get our headstone writing skills in shape while we're at it.
