Indiana congressman says he's willing to let more Americans die to save economy
Favoring the economy over Americans' health "is the lesser of two evils," Rep. Trey Hollingsworth said.

"It is always the American government's position to say, in the choice between the loss of our way of life as Americans and the loss of life, of American lives, we have to always choose the latter," he said.
From the day the very first settlers arrived the American way of life has never been worth preserving.

No tips really other than hoping your immune system can fight it. That's all anyone has for it at this point, and if your immune system can't do it's job normally, you need to get to an ER so they can use what they've learned about it to help you.

Keep in mind I'm a 53 year old with a long history of smoking and drug abuse. I consider myself fortunate that I decided to try and get healthy a few years back.
If it wasn't for the fact it was mid January I'd be sure I'd had it as well. I basically had what you're describing and it lasted just over two weeks.

Honestly felt like my lungs were bleeding when I coughed.

Glad you are on the mend Planks.

Thank you Fluff.

There were quite a few reported cases of people having the same symptoms before anyone realized what they were dealing with. I don't know. I can only speculate at this point, but I've never had a sickness like it.

Be well.

I woke up, turned on the tele, and there's multi-vehicle (50+ in one of them) accidents on 2 of the main highways around Chicago this morning due to snow, freezing conditions, and a lack of salt trucks. I'm sure there's quite a few 'essential' people involved in those messes just trying to get to their collectively essential jobs.

Yoiks.

On another note: The curve in Illinois is flattening.

She's healthy and not overweight so I'm going to hope that doesn't happen as it's less likely.

We're almost through this but it's really just a warm up to having to most likely do this with my own parents, relatives, friends, my gf, and even myself.

It lasted about 12 hours until my body started to recover to where I didn't think I was in danger.

Godspeed to her Exo.
^ Hope no-one minds if I cut and paste these from another thread. I'm very sorry to hear of your troubles, Exo and Plankton, but I'm also quoting you to introduce this simple tip for anyone who has the bad luck to get cv: lie on your stomach to help breathing:-

I appreciate that Lisna. I'm not quite 100% yet, I still have that pain in my lungs but it's just a fraction of what it was, and breathing has been mostly normal. If symptoms return for any reason, this is good to know.

Always helpful and a gentleman at that.
