That's not a guarantee you'll be happy on the other side of the transition. Just in my experience when I get in a rut either I make an impulsive decision that changes the scenery or eventually **** catches up to me and I'm forced to make one... And in either case it usually provides at least some insight and positive motivation to move forward.. Much more than doing the same old same old.

Yeah I get that. Even just getting another ****ty job, any other ****ty job, and just doing anything different could give me a boost in mood after I gave it a week to get used to the change. But my self-abusing brain knows that this is nothing to worry about and will still calmly speak poison into my ear the entire time because it knows that the long game is never in question.

I agree. You're smart. You're witty. The least you can do is ****ing try. I mean not even just job ****. Even creatively. Make a YouTube channel or something. Write a comic book. God knows what.

Yeah that I definitely blame on work. Creativity is ****ing tiring but I did it anyway on this forum until I got a job and then boom no ****ing energy to keep up with all the **** I was doing. I was no Trollheart but I did in fact keep up with **** like that Metal Album Survivor Thread and my old journal. Then I'm working and maybe some people have energy after a day of work but clearly it shot me right in the legs.
