I don't understand why everyone makes such a big deal of those.

I don't really see it.
yeah, it's a weird looking piercing (times 23 or so).
but, it's just like any other.
there are alot of them.
it's in a weird place.
but how does that make it more painful?

I don't see it.

I've got four tattoos so far.. my mother died when I was young, and she loved nautical stars, so I have an angel covering my whole back holding a nautical star, and the tips of the wings touch over my heart, and old english letting on my arm to spell something out. love em, they're extremely addictive. I like tattoos on people as long as they're meaningful, I hate it when I see someone with something generic tattooed on themselves just because they wanted to get one.. ie, on girls, a butterfly or fairy... I also don't really like tribal stuff, as it doesnt really mean anything, just a design..

different parts of your body have more nerve endings that others, so some piercings will be A LOT more painful than others.

Exactly. Lets see someone get a piercing through the middle of their nail on their index finger...without going into hysterics.

I like the laced up piercing things, they're hott. I'd get thm, but they're a tad effeminate.

Funny enough, that's something I've heard of. It didn't occur to me when I typed the original message, but yes, it's supposed to feel nice on a bird's clit!!

youre wrong there, if you look up the subject youll find that real tribal designs do in fact have meanings for example: ancestrial or other milestones. Each tribe has differant designs and styles with differant understandings of what they mean. I have several tribal tattoos, but i didnt just walk into a studio and pick one off the wall. I got books and did some research first.
