There goes my million dollar idea

Still recovering from surgery here. I managed to drag myself to the gym for half an hour last night, and afterward I was so unbelievably tired I could barely drive home.

That happened to me on a 10 mile hike. I just sat in my car for like 20 minutes picking at trail mix and drinking water until i got the energy to drive 40 minutes back home.

Sucks.

I was seriously slapping myself to stay awake while I was driving.

Hacked up a big, bloody chunk of mucus and I feel all better now. Yippee!

I have a cough that hasn't gone away since Saturday night, and now I am in caffeine withdrawal because I was taking pills of it through finals week X_X

My student just told me that last year he got the flu shot but then got the flu anyway later that winter. He said he thinks the flu shot is a lie.

Many people that get the flu shot get the flu, but a milder version of what would have hit them had they not received the shot. Tell him to research the history of influenza (i.e. its death toll) before he makes himself more foolish

What? Fuck that. I only interacted with the student because he didn't have a partner for the speaking activity. You think I'm going to seek out a student and engage with him/her on my own time and of my own volition?
