To be perfectly blunt I've just come to the realization that I'm generally less happy when I'm posting here. For every pleasant conversation I have there's five that only serve to annoy me and worsen my mood. That's absolutely my fault in several ways, with my inability to let certain things go or just ignore **** that aggravates me, but I've found that I'm better served spending the limited time I have within other venues. MusicBanter is too niche to change, and I can't afford to spend the time and energy to change myself enough in order to make this work better.

I know in the grand scheme of things I barely mattered here, but I just wanted the handful of people that would ever wonder where I'm at to know that I've just lost interest in investing my time here. I'll stop pop into the dark, dusty corners of the forum where my interests still lie from time to time, but I think my days as a consistent poster here are done. Took my over 7 years to realize this, and damn there's been some ups and downs during that period. But damn it, I'll be glad to leave this **** behind.
