Mic is great. One of the forum's TopLads.

Fair

Also here I am over a month ago noting Mic’s overwhelming hatred for everything just to prove this is not a recent development

Mic loves Prince, Scandinavian Metal, Kylie Minogue, Japanese City Pop and Blackstar.

Also enjoys tinned Mackerel.

YorkeDaddy 08-27-2018 02:59 PM

Damn I was wrong he sounds as cultured as they come

The Batlord 08-27-2018 03:12 PM

And he really digs Tori Amos.

For every one post you make talking about something you like there are 200 posts of you talking about stuff you dislike, and most of the time its either unfounded or you can't back it up at all

I post music that I love pretty pretty damn frequently. And often enough about movies. It's that psychological effect where the negative things stick like glue and the positive things slide off your brain like oil.

What your describing is moreso how I view Frownland, and I find his style of arguing to be vastly more digestable and emotion-free than Mic’s

Janz gets it. Don't put too much weight in what I'm writing in here. I'm just fooling around 90% of the time.

Stalker! I need a restraining order if this keeps on.

"overwhelming hatred"

Wow... maybe I really do need to dial it back. Is it really that bad?

Damn straight. A man needs nothing much in life if he has Kylie Minogue and tinned mackarel. And likewise <3

Make up your mind. Am I a holier than thou snob or a filthy, uncultured pleb?

EDIT: A special treat for Yorke: My currently frozen journal where I spend literally 99% of it talking about music I like. Only a couple pages where I experimented with listening to horrible bands. https://www.musicbanter.com/members-...-picks-12.html

Hell yeah. Top 5 all time fave to this day. Keeping it under lid since I don't think MB is exactly crawling with Amos devotees.

Then why do I feel this way exclusively about you and nobody else

And I’ve learned more about what you like since I made that post over a month ago but you still post negative opinions on things more than any other members that’s just a fact

I do not hold any grudge or notable dislike for you like Frownland thinks, I can and will totally agree and have pleasant conversations with you when something we both enjoy is being discussed, like back on the board game thread. That was a great conversation. The true hatred is saved for the ****tiest of the ****heads, like Merit lately. Yeesh

The thing I don't understand is why we can't have a friendly conversation about something we completely disagree on. Sharing positive opinions, sharing negative opinions; both are a sharing of a personal perspective.

And I don't sit and keep track of my positive to negative ratio, so it becomes whatever it may. If people talk about things I don't like much and I choose to participate, it becomes negative opinions. Like the video game threads, where I just don't really have all that high thoughts of most games that get a thread. The alternative would be to just not say anything. I can't really help that my tastes seem quite different from most in here on most things.
