To your credit, you are fair and factual enough to have included in your quote the bit that I have bolded, which rather undercuts your complaint, imo, because it is both uncontroversial and amicable.

To try and get a bit of context, I read on through that hip-hop thread expecting to find some "snide, passive aggressive comments", but instead I found this from RS:-

^ Another inoffensive post as far as I can see, which leaves me wondering why you have any issue with RS at all.
Well we were pointing out that Rubber Soul seemed to be showing subconscious racial bias as opposed to outright racism. Dismissing that out of hand and then trying to pass it off as normal for older folk is exactly the kind of thing that keeps subconscious racial biases around, which can be frustrating even if the person specifically being spoken to isn't necessarily showing any real lack of character, just lack of self-awareness. Especially since well-meaning people like you question whether we're not just imagining things (not a shot at you, just saying). YorkeDaddy is certainly a cock goblin though.

^ Thanks for trying to explain the problem, Batlord. As others have suggested, it's beginning to look like an over-analysed storm in a teacup to me. Nevertheless, I can't quite avoid topping up the teacup with another splash of analysis:-

(i) Imputing someone for subconscious racial bias based on MB posts sounds like a bit of a stretch to me. As we all know, based on the words of a post, it's often hard enough just to tell what's a joke and what's a serious comment, let alone something as subtle as subconscious bias.
(ii) I understand that coming up against subconscious racial bias can be frustrating. It's a pity that YD didn't spell that out as clearly, as dispassionately, as you have just done when he posted:-

^ I appreciate the bit in brackets, thanks. Now I'm left wondering what on earth a "cock goblin" is.

I don't know what a cock goblin is either, but it might be one like that dude on that Goblin Cock album cover.
Google it, but beware of NSFW imagery

^ Wow! These full-time Grammar Nazis are so touchy!

I didn't find any outrageous Cock Goblin album art, MicShazam, but I did come across these, so it's not like I wasted my time clicking on things of no value...

We're ignoring the real problem here: YD has apparently become a triggered little SJW cuck.

Those are nice covers. I wonder if the one to the right was intended as being suggestive or if it was just more innocent times

And I was referring to this album cover: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/f9/15...d268bd7304.jpg (NSFW alert!)
