1) So much to do at work that the work day flew by in what felt like a couple hours.

2) Went to dinner and a movie with friends. Not a great movie, but it was still a good time overall.

3) Listened to some CDs on my stereo and enjoyed it big time. One of them was the new Neko Case album, which I got for christmas but didn't find time to listen to properly until today.

4) slept on my couch between work and going out with friends and I needed that so it felt good.

1 Today is payday
2 I have at least $400 left in my account from last payday
3 Yesterday my friend gave me $400 of his tax returns because I let him borrow $200 and I bought him Smash Bros. when it came out and the rest he said was extra or sumn.
4 I get beer of the check and I get 7 cases of my choice for an anniversary. IDK if that's a good thing, but it's not a bad thing.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

*** I think cleaning your crib helps keep depression at bay - like it can snowball in the wrong direction if you ignore it - but when you start to feel better capitalize on it and try to get positive patterns working in your noggin - when you’re depressed hard reading **** like that can piss you off because it feels like someone is saying see it’s simple - I don’t think it’s simple but everything you do affects your brain - every conversation, every pill, every everything - watching your personal space transform into something more agreeable to live in can’t hurt

ok

In moderation. Clutter can be nice. Gives a space personality rather than being bland. But cleaning it every now and again can feel like a new haircut. And then you're free to let it get cluttered in a whole new way that keeps your space dynamic.

There is a distinction between tidy and clean though. I like my house to be cluttered but clean: I completely agree with what you say about clutter, but I also want to be able to walk around on bare feet without my soles getting sticky
