1) i feel like the recent storm (TS Gordon) was healing for me. I stayed up all next to an open window and listened to it blast and the power was out making it more impactful
2) work seems to be going fine and I’m enjoying a decent work life balance for the most part 3) I love the strain of weed I got right now (blueberry) 4) I won $300 betting on the Cardinals and that’s my only bet this month (I cheated and did recently instead of today but whatevs)

1. Got a really solid bite from a potential buyer for the Winnebago. So solid him and his wife are driving 8-9 hours round trip on Monday to check it out.
2. Got our Fed tax refund check today. $1,637.00 each. 3. Season 2 of Ozark has been edge of the couch good stuff. We're both really enjoying the **** out of it. 4. Got my new cast iron Lodge skillet and cooked some steaks on it tonight. Yummy!

Standard with all Lodge products. I've cooked steaks every way possible and a cast iron skillet is always my go to.
1. Coat the skillet with a small amount of oil. Peanut or Canola works great. 2. Bring the steaks to room temperature and then oil them down too and season both sides generously with salt and pepper. 3. Get the skillet SMOKING hot. Really hot! 4. Sear the steaks about 5-6 minutes on each side. The crust you get is ridiculous. 5. Pop the skillet in a 400 degree oven for a couple of minutes. Timing depends on how you like em cooked and the thickness of the cut. 6. Take em out, put them on the plate, and tent them with foil for no less than 5 minutes. ![]()

1. Got a haircut.
2. Gregg Barsby won the PDGA World title (I caddied for him last year). 3. Played Ript Revenge for the after tags round yesterday. First time I've ever heard of it, but that was pretty cool. 4. I played a round with the Tournament Director on Saturday and got a preview of the artwork for the DG tournament in the prison, complete with history and imagery for the surroundings of where each hole is located throughout the prison grounds. It's absolutely perfect. I've also nailed down the music, sound effects, and miscellaneous details for my small part of it all. The Historical Society was also talking about keeping this course as a specialty event for rotation among the local disc golf clubs during the normal season, so it's nice to see the sport getting some recognition in such a niche environment. It'll help bring in revenue where there was zero interest and the land and structure were just overhead expenses and wasting away. Good stuff.

1. Winnebago is sold for the price I was looking for.
2. Gonna give my savings a nice bump because of #1. 3. Realized there's a Buca di Beppo tucked away right around the corner. 4. Prepping to cook some killer Greek chicken kabobs on the grill tomorrow.
