Good lord, I hope I never started a goodbye thread. I've left this place a few times since joining. Mostly during my college years when I just didn't have time or motivation to be a regular any longer.

That thread did remind me of Unknown Soldier. Anyone know what ever happened to him? When I first started posting on here, I had many PMs with him asking for his opinions on things, cuz back then I knew **** all about music. He'd even follow up with me to see what my thoughts were. He knew a lot and was a genuinely great guy.

I also had quite a few similar PMs with Howard the Duck, RIP.
