We should probably factor in that the guy doing the swinging is 6'-4" and 270 pounds of conditioned muscle. That clip at 2:14 is slow motion too.

Can I hit you with a helmet if Neo backs out?

Today I learned, thanks to a documentary about the routinely-forgotten Persian Empire (circa 500 B.C.), that they gave us the word "paradise". It was Persian for "enclosed garden" and the Persians were the first guys to lay out gardens for reasons of aesthetic pleasure alone. Given how popular gardening is today, it was interesting to me at least, to learn where it all began. Also clear from the program: the pre-Islamic ancient Persians were way cooler than the hardline religious yoke that Iran currently lives under.

I was trial by fire when I got thrown into running a turret lathe while in between jobs. They showed me a simple part and how to make it, then left me alone with little guidance. I was pumping out graduated steel rolls for pipe bending in a matter of a week or two. I had quite a bit of programming experience though, so that helped.

Good luck on your 2nd installment!

The software and tech has had a few years to refine since I've had my grubby hands on it. I can't remember anything about it other than the guy that was showing me the ropes had a hot wife.
