I usually learn better when I just pay attention without taking notes.

Same here, the atmosphere of the class makes everyone have notebook for notes. I would learn better by relaxing and just watching. Basically just gathering what I can from class and then learning from youtube

Yeah honestly I think I'd be spending all my attention on hearing and writing and wouldn't really realize what was being said.

I believed in myself too much to take notes or study.
