Hello dues how are ya??
I mi$$ arcades like crazy...... I used to goto my mall and play Frogger,Ms. pacman,Galaga,etc....... Ahhhhh it was fun!!!!! Now all there is IS PURE CRAP in malls..... This joke called "WOW ENTERTAINMENT" -- Nothing but fucking garbage in there!! (Nothing I wanna play) What happend to good games like we had in the early 80s???? -- I dont mean these newer cabinets with multiple games,its just crap (Doesnt sound as good,etc)... I PREFER THE ORIGINAL EARLY 80s ARCADE GAMES!!!!!!!!! I have read of an arcade place in NH that supposedly has original games........ I WOULD LOVE GOING TO IT!!! |
A friend of mine recently built his own arcade game. He left off the bottom part, so it can be set on a table. I'll see if I can find some pics.

If I ever live somewhere with an arcade that has Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter 2, and Killer Instinct I'll probably go broke through bleeding quarters.

**** that. I want my arcade cabinet taller than me in a dank, smelly room with way too many dank, smelly people. Anything else is a pale imitation.

I just checked Google to see if there were any barcades in my area and one is opening soon a fifteen minute drive away. Cool. The only annoying thing is that the house I used to live in is just over a mile from it. If I'd never moved to this godforsaken hole of a residential, strip mall, **** heap ten miles from anything even approaching entertaining I could soon be able to spend my checks getting wasted while playing Turtles in Time and then stumble home. ****.

I always liked "Dave and Busters" when it comes to arcades. Seems like they are like everywhere in the US. At least the areas I go to. Cedar Point in Ohio also has a wonderful arcade with all the old-school games/pinballs.
There is a neat one at Disney World as well..Disney Quest. Just outside the main park and you pay one time, then just play as many games as you want. What I would love to see is a good "claw" game. Not these automatic claw games but the older ones where you really could position your claw. Those were great. Pity you really don't see them too much but they were much easier to win at then the more modern claw machines. |
When I was a kid my dad bought my mom an arcade machine for Christmas. It was full of these old games you could play. Though I think they were knock-off s that were programmed to look 80's. Lol.

Building an arcade room. Probably one of those things I'd do if I was suddenly somehow a millionaire.
