Sure, we're all pricks, me sometimes the biggest of them, and we fight and argue and occasionally issue the odd death threat, but in times of trouble we've been known to rally round and support each other. Sometimes - very occasionally - we're like some mad dysfunctional family. But at those times, for me at least, it matters. We're all laughing and joking and cursing, but when it comes time to shut the **** up and do something, generally, we do it. I'm thinking specifically here about Steph's house burning down, but that's up to her to address if she wants.

I just want to say thanks to those who supported me through
1) the traumatic passing of my cat Ritchie
2) the passing of my Auntie Eileen
3) my various troubles with Karen.

You're all *******s and pricks, but occasionally you come good, so thanks for that.

Anyone else wants to testify, feel free.

Frownland's a pretentious **** who undeservedly thinks his music isn't ****, but while the forum as a whole has opened my eyes over the years to the subjectivity of music and also all the weird truths within that idea that aren't even obvious with such a simple concept, Frownland has probably done the most to keep me honest and openminded about not taking my own opinion too seriously while also being willing to **** down the throat of any plebe who disagrees with me.

There you go, Chris, that's the single nice thing I'll ever say about you, you bald ***got.

I got a life, so the feels are kinda limited.
It's pretty entertaining here though and it's nice to converse with fellow music nerds. I don't have many in meatspace.

I want to clarify that my house was spared in the fires and it was my grandma's that was lost. But yes, MB collectively donated about $500 to her gofundme, which is only a little under half of what was raised altogether. She got herself a trailer and is living on a family friend's plot of land and doing really well.

Exo deserves a lot of thanks for facilitating all of that and sharing the donation link while I was evacuated. I was truly moved by everyone's generosity. <3
