Hey look it's Ki again. Yeah yeah. Listen. I've made far too many mistakes that has led to my own demise at this forum, but for one reason or another I find myself coming back. Not only for the heated discussions, but for the community as well. I feel like 2017 and even some of 2016 was where our community was at its best. Let's achieve that again.

And in another note, I'd like to publicly apologize for pretty much everything that I have done over the past few months to a year regarding the forum. I've been an unnecessary ******* and I've also managed to ruin good friendships here. Evidently my own doing.

I'm a laughing stock and honestly I deserve it. I wouldn't want to associate with me either.

Anything that has either spiraled out of control or even forum drama that was caused due to me being obboxious, I've pretty much taken full responsibility of that. On top of that, if you'd like to accept my apology based on some thing I didn't know I did or I was told and didn't apologize, consider this that apology and multiply it.

I like this forum. I like the people here. I like the heated arguments a lot o times and I feel like we are just a community of people wanting to have a good time.

I'm not expecting anybody to accept an apology from me especially if you don't forgive anything I've said here but it's there if you want it.

I would just like to offer that perhaps we consider this "me starting over." If we can forgive the past Ki, we can move forward from it. I'm genuinely working on myself and while I do deal with a pretty severe case of anxiety and depression, I'm doing what I can to still be the person I wanna be. Don't take the depression as an excuse. It's not an excuse. I'm just putting that out there.

Believe me, that's probably something I want to work on entirely. As the years went on, I became more and more welcoming of just being straight up *******-ish and unwilling to cooperate. I mean yeah I an ******* in person but not nearly to extent that I am here. I also really need to stop trying to mistake a full on personal attack into a joke because it falls flat 100% of the time.

I turned 27 recently and I'm getting older not younger. I don't want to be seen as the guy who doesn't seem to understand sensitivity etc because I do. I'm genuinely a sensitive guy and I always try to be nice to people. It's no excuse obviously but I just want to work on it and be a part of this place again.

I've been off of social media for a few months now and it's really fantastic what it can do to your mentality. Now I just want to chill, talk music, video games etc with you guys.

The only thing you ever did that pissed me off was taking your music off Bandcamp

I wasn't good at it but still managed to get halfway through. Some raging involved, but I've played more frustrating games. When are you gonna play Armored Core 5 though? It's also a From Software and it's great.

im totally a noob to roguelike dungeon crawlers but it has me super interested in the genre.

wizard of legend looks pretty cool as well.

It's a series I want to play but I've been on a buying binge of 360 games the past few months just so I can have a massive, diverse encyclopedia of games to choose from at any given moment so that any single game is on a long waiting list. Its time will come but I seem to remember wanting to play 4 more just cause it sounded more about big, hulking mech fights and that's really what I want out of a mech game. 5 sounds like a game to get after I've scratched that itch first. It's just too bad that Mechwarrior never survived into the modern era of gaming. Would love to play a recent gen Mechwarrior game that didn't suck.

Oh totally. I'm an absolute bitch about games that feel threatening. It's why I keep trying horror games and never get past the first few scares.

Oh yeah, I played Mechwarrior 2 to death in the 90's. These days I just have the crummy PS1 version, but it's fun to play a little now and again.

I like pretty much all of the Armored Core games, so 4 would be a great place to start as well. 5 is a bit easier though and it's my overall fave. If 4 turns out to be a bit hard, the stand-alone expansion, For Answer, is somewhat friendlier. I just love the whole series and have been getting into Armored Core 2 recently. Once you're over the initial trouble with getting used to the controls, it's a ton of fun to build mechs and blow **** up.

Im with ya on horror games, i dont like those but games like Demon souls or Nocturne that can be frustratingly hard while not impossible are great. I don't like games you can just breeze thru. I want a challenge.

Of course Devil May Cry 1 and 3 (and 4 tbh) are an exception. Hard and all, but the arcade quality makes them insanely addictive.

After that hbomberguy video I don't even want to play with a shield. Sounds tedious. I'd rather suck at playing dynamically than turtle up in an action game.

You learn fast.

Keep your loadout as light as possible, roll like your balls are on fire, and then watch and laugh as all the massive beasties eat shit from your backstabs.
