These LL Cool J lyrics come to mind:

Instead of walkin' like you're limp and talkin' yang about me
Why don't you take your monkey-ass and get a college degree?
Or write a rhyme and ride a bike and try to live carefree
Hope my message reaches you before you're seventy-three
A old man, when people ask you what you did with your life
You'll say "I hated L.L. and I carried a big knife"

Just looked it up. Between the MLB, NFL, NBA, and NHL over 125 million people paid big bucks to see a game in person. For every one person who pays, another 100 (at least) watched the game at home or in a bar.

That's at least 12+ billion people who dug watching a game from one of the four major sports.

You don't dig it? Good for you.

Whether 12 or 12 billion people like something has no relevence on something as subjective as quality. Now go kick 12 billion balls into 12 billion nets.

Quality? Quality? The word quality has nothing to do with sports, except within the sport itself. It's all about enjoyment. Billions of people enjoy sports.

We're not talking music or paintings here. It's just ****ing sports. I enjoy them. Lots of people do. Can't speak for a bunch of MB members here who are too cool for them.

Over 160 million people worldwide watched the last Super Bowl. Why? Had nothing to do with quality. It's just enjoyable and fun. (for most)
