It's almost worse that they can't fly particularly fast, because while they're fast enough to escape death if given a few seconds head start, the site of a flying cockroach anti-majestically rising into the air with all the horror of worms in animal excrement will make you recoil in panic so that they may very well be able to disappear into the gap of a cupboard.

^ Ugh! Been there, done that: the only thing worse than seeing a flying cockroach in the bedroom is when you can't see it anymore.

Because roach is also a slang word, imo, the reduction of cockroach should be 'roach with apostrophe. Any comments before I complain to Yac that Occult Hawk has his thread title wrong?
