Ohh **** and I think I really need to listen to yet another Florida band far more who were amazing in the realm of heavy, power, and thrash metal...
You simply can't be such a miserable state without pissing off enough people to make awesome metal.

And apparently it don't even stop with that bitchass list. And Scott Burns is the producer most associated with Morrisound and death metal btw, so he needs a shoutout himself.

A lot of what I know about Scott Burns and Morrisound I learned from Cannibal Corpse's Centuries of Torment DVD. It's got a really nice history on the band that doubles as a history of the early part of death metal in general, along with a history of Morrisound Studios. I knew some before that, but it's a good documentary, even if you don't dig Cannibal Corpse. Will give you insight into the late 80s/early 90s thrash/death metal scene to boot.

I saw them once and they absolutely obliterated. It was at some ****ty summer fest with bands like Trivium and I had to piss like a race horse, I'm fairly sure I had a very mild concussion from getting dropped on my head crowd surfing, and I was already hung over cause I had no money for booze.
I was all set to go find a bathroom and then this wall of noise assaults my ears, I stop like I've been threatened, and I go back and get dropped on my head again, mosh in a pit the width of the stage, and in general do not give a **** that I'm at all times ten minutes from being completely miserable. Was the best experience I've ever had at a show and throwing the horns to Corpsegrinder when I was five feet from the stage after crowd surfing and then him returning the devil horns almost made me wet myself. Cannibal Corpse rule and Vile is the ****. Getting to hear "Stripped, Raped, and Strangled" live with Corpsegringer also makes the album version completely obsolete.

I saw them in a club. I don’t think the atmosphere was very wild. I kept passing out on my feet and catching myself before I hit the ground. I was very drunk and had some Xanax too. I remember walking home willing myself not to pass out outside. I made it home.

Oh and absolutely, no matter what you feel about Cannibal Corpse, George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher absolutely deserves to be one of he most famous vocalists in all of death metal. The man's mouth is a furnace of hate.
