Well technically when you ask with Can, you're asking the question of whether you can or cant. May insinuates you're asking to be given access to it specifically.

It ain't about asking. It's **** like "sticking your dick into a lion's mouth can result in an injured penis" being changed to "sticking your dick into a Lion's Mouth may result in an Injured Penis".

Unnecessary capitalization pisses me off too.
