I fixed a door that wasn’t closing right. It needed longer screws in the side plates of the hinge to fasten tight enough.

How do you fix a bulb? Don't you mean you replaced it?

My sister had surgery for an ingrown toenail. I had the same issue and dealt with it myself. Sterilized it with rubbing alcohol. rubbed it down with benzocaine. Dug it out with tweezers and pliers. Bandaged it up. After a week or so, it was good as new!

I have a high pain tolerance.

I bet that was because you don't trust the Jew doctors, huh?

A section of a copper water pipe with a pinhole leak. Luckily, it was outside of any drywall and I caught it shortly after it started leaking.

A door handle. Thought I did a decent job and then when I got back from my time abroad my subtenant had broken it again.

I also recently "repaired" a bike which ended up in the dump about two weeks later.

This morning I fixed a cassette I got......

It wouldnt play well, sounded like it got wet or was somehow being wedged in and couldnt freely move.... IT WAS HARD GETTING THIS!! -- I was tired and my eyes were hurting from overtired and I almost gave up..... The tape kept coming off the lead spool (The one on the left if looking @ side 1)

I put it into a different shell and finally got it closed w/o the tape being scrunched in the front!! (This shell has screws also thankfully (The one I took apart easily came apart with a knife wedged in the front))

I didnt wanna lose it....... Whitesnakes first album - TROUBLE (1978)

Last night I fixed one of my 8 track tapes :)

I just got BARRY MANILOWS first concert (1977) and there was basically NO PAD and when track 4 played, the right channel wasnt there. (I LISTEN IN MONO BUT IT STILL MAKES IT SOUND WIERD MISSING A CHANNEL)

I popped the cartridge open and put a good pad in :) (Thankfully it wasnt damaged)

^ Yeah, full marks to Dude111 for your thread idea of celebrating that special satisfaction that comes from effecting a good repair, but it's strange to have such a detailed inventory of repaired tapes isn't it?
Back when DVDs were the common way to store and replay audio/visual content, I worked for a school which used them in the classrooms. They were so often rewound and paused that they started breaking, twisting somehow and jamming. After one successful repair, I became the school's go-to guy for fixing their DVDs.

That's even weirder. ;)
