Well the season is about a month away, can't wait. Any other nfl followers here? i know alejo is.

I used to watch American football years ago on t.v. and I usually end up watching the odd Superbowl Final.
Favourite team (for no good reason) Washington Redskins.

One thing though. Why are the Superbowl winners called The World Champions when the only participants...are American??

i've often wondered about that, but americans do that with every sport they play......maybe they should call it the interstellar galactic championship....

I like American football more. I think its just a cultural thing. I wonder why it was ever called football since only a very small portion of the game includes kicking the ball, and there was already a sport called football in existence. Its like me saying "i think I'm gonna name my polka band Rage against the Machine" and actually getting awaywith it.

Well. 1. Players from all over (different countries) play in the league.
and 2. If you put a team together it would get ran the **** over.
