any brushes with history?
I'm presently setting up my next music journal (and it is actually going to be music this time ). I'm planning on mixing the music with some, um, trivia, and when I came across the Iranian Hostage Crisis of 1979-1981, it reminded me of my own brush with history. You see, I was a Senior in High School (79-80) and one of the hostages happened to be the brother of one of my High School Administrators.
So I guess I'm wondering if any of you have a couple degrees of separation from a historic event? |

Actually, I'm thinking maybe you knew someone who knew someone who was involved in a major news event, like maybe someone knew someone who died on 9/11 for example.
But your great-grandfather can work too. My grandmother originally migrated to Canada with her parents when she was seven, though I don't know what the circumstances were. |
