Howard The Duck Memorial Award for Most Inane Member: Mindfulness has this one locked up.
Biggest Fanboy / Fangirl of the Year: Haven't really been paying much attention to the music forums, but Chula does plenty in the Lounge.
Best Writer: riseagainstrocks always writes eloquent and organized posts, and on the rare occasion Janszoon posts a journal entry, it always reads beautifully.
Nicest member: Man Like Monkey and DwnWthVwls have been good to me.
Smartest poster: Paedantic Basterd is insightful.
Funniest member: The Batlord overwhelms everyone else by sheer volume.
Angriest Member: elphenor's William Carlos Williams-esque typing gives his posts an irate air.
Best Mediator: Trollheart is good at smoothing ruffled feathers.
Best Taste in Music: Although the tastes of Neapolitan, Lisnaholic, and Psy-Fi are more diverse than mine, we like a great deal of the same music.
Most Underrated Poster: grindy and Psy-Fi fly under the radar.
Best Thread Starter: Trollheart has both quality and quantity.
Most Missed Poster: I'm going to go back a couple of years and say ladyislingering.
Most Diverse Music Taste: rostasi and innerspaceboy always seem to know more music than anyone else.
Most Mainstream Music Taste: Are self-nominations allowed? If not, Chula.
Thread of the Year: I've enjoyed "Paedantic Basterd Listens to the Past."
Moderator of the Year: Exo and Plankton are the most obvious choices.

Member of the Year 2017: I think Lisnaholic deserves recognition for his respectful, focused contributions.
