I need to read up on this stuff. Are all of these cases civil? I'm asking because I thought there was a statute of limitations in the states for these types of accusations. If I watched too much Law & Order here, feel free to say so.
I'm not surprised by all of these cases surfacing. When is the FX True Crime series about the Depp/Heard fiasco showing? |

I thought Weinstein's allegations happened more recently?
Cosby's was overturned because of prosecutorial misconduct, not the statute of limitations from what I've heard. Honestly it doesn't sound like they ever had enough evidence to convict him. |

I first heard about them around 2004 or 2005 and I was under the impression some of those were recent. But Cosby's circle could be quite intimidating and I think a couple settled out of court (including the criminal one that the PA court overturned I believe). The incidents themselves are said to date back to the sixties.
