Nobody's saying Chula doesn't stoke the fires and get himself into trouble, but he's not a mod. I expect better from a mod. I suppose I should not. Well, that's not fair: every other mod behaves as expected and I have respect for them all. Frownland is the exception. Unfortunately he's being allowed to pollute the gene pool and nobody has done, is doing or will do anything about it till the end of time.

If I politely asked you to stop making off topic posts or I'd delete them and you replied with "**** you I do what I want ban me bitch," I would ban you too. I am absolutely in the right on that one and anyone who disagrees is a big dumb dumb who likely had their perspectives changed by a false narrative.

And I would expect to be. I'm not in any way suggesting that sometimes the bans/threats are not necessary or justified. It's your way of implementing them that causes the problem. If Jansz or Exo or Isbjorn asked me (assuming I'd crossed a line) to stop doing something or I'd get banned, I'd listen. If you did, I would also listen but would hear a subtext that says "this is just because it's you. Anyone else would get away with this." This is the reputation you've created for yourself: you come across as someone who singles out and picks on people who you, for whatever reason, don't like, or like baiting. As private parts are we to you: you play with us for your sport.

Work on your perception then because I don't abuse my mod powers like that. Ever.

So here's the thing. We have always had mods who have goaded users and then tried to ban them for retaliating. Anybody remember Urban? Vanilla? Yeah? No? Literally always been an issue. It's just what happens when you A) get a bunch of personalities together and B) give some of them power.

The thing is, changing that kind of culture requires way more effort than anyone is willing to put into it. Accountability isn't fun. So we don't do it.

EDIT: I'm not commenting on Frown per se, because I haven't been around enough to notice the issue in question, I'm just talking about the behaviour in general.

That's different. I knew he was joking, plus Batty hasn't ****ed anything in so long my sister would chew him up and spit him out. If, however, he had said something along the lines of "Your stupid disabled sister" then we would have a problem. Most times, Batty knows where the line is and seldom crosses it.
Yeah. I never had a problem with any other mod. Can't speak for anyone else, but if you get made a mod, if you take on the job, there should be some sort of basic code of conduct that prevents you from abusing your powers. I suppose it doesn't help that I never liked Frownland anyway, and that's reciprocated, but I like him less now that he's proven that all he wants to do as a mod is throw his weight around.
