Those closest I ever came to killing myself was when I had teacher money

I was still pretty low income but nothing like now. Not that I think that means anything

Having that little extra financial cushion would be a huge load off mental distress

Idk it’s all anectdotal - my case obviously - I get what Bat is saying but I also think having a little more would be great - I’m not going to stay in a room with a bunch of putrid teenagers all day again to have it though

I tend to assume that whatever psychological baggage I have now, I will still have if i make a comfortable living. I'm willing to deal with that. I have thick skin. I just know that being broke is only going to make things worse.

The reason rich kids shoot junk is because they know that having money still sucks / it’s not that it’s worse than being poor it’s just that it’s the pinnacle of Americanarama and it’s still not really worth living so where’s the dreamhope? Not in capitalism

How ****ing peabrained do you have to be? This society does not give you an out unless you are highly motivated and goal oriented. I am not highly motivated and goal orientated. That does not mean I consent to this society. I was shoved into this society simply because my mother shoved me out of her **** and my consent was assumed. At no point did I ever sign any consent form to be in this society. This society does not have my consent for me to be in it. And yet I am expected to go way far above and beyond the call of consent just to remove myself from it.
