If I gave a **** about sports I think baseball would be the most rewarding sport to give a **** about. I say this as a sports hater who still likes tennis, can mildly enjoy football on holidays, and thinks hockey is actually kinda cool.

You bet. See football, hockey, basketball, soccer the players get injured and get taking out out of the game. Baseball is opposite, it's not really a contact sport and the players are relatively safe. It's the spectators that are at risk. Baseball is the only sport that warns you before the game starts that if you don't pay attention you could get seriously injured. The announcer tells you straight up if you decide to take a nap or play with your cellphone you are risking your life. Yeah, baseball forces you to give a **** about what's happening on the field, and the reward is that you stay alive.

It's one of the few sports where you can be sorta out of shape and still compete, so I could see that. But as far as watching it goes, **** that.

I mean as a spectator. The analysis and strategy seems like it would be the most interesting out of all the major sports if watching baseball wasn't so godawful.
