Default The Hot Sauce Thread

Can't believe there isn't already one but you people suck so it's understandable. Post your hot sauce love, talk about your best/worst/both experiences, tell us what you're currently using or would like to use, give us your favs, etc. And along with brand it would be nice if you could post a pic of the bottle (either your pic or from the net) cause hot sauce bottles are nearly as important as what's inside.

Finally ran out of my glorious bottle of Marie Sharp's Comatose Heat Level Habanero Hot Sauce and promptly replaced it. I definitely think I'm a fan of the chunkier stuff: they seem to have more taste, more texture, more heat, and if it doesn't have seeds then it's probs bitch ****.

Also picked up a bottle of Gringo Bandito cause it's habanero (my new god) and has a great bottle. The racism also helps. Too bad it's thin and watery, isn't that hot, and has mediocre taste. I love hot sauce on my microwaved burritos but anything that thin doesn't want to stay on, so I'll probably use it for rice. But even weak hot sauce is still way better than no hot sauce. I'll keep the bottle when it's empty though. Maybe start a collection. It's better than stamps anyway.

Texas Pete taste too salty. I like Louisiana "Crystal" Hot Sauce. I went through a phase that I put it on everything.

I'm gonna have to hit this site up as it looks boss as ****. 400 hundred kinds of hot sauce and they deliver it to your door? **** yes. I'm gonna look up what's good to buy, but honestly I'll probably start with whatever has the coolest bottles.

Once you've had the better **** Texas Pete just tastes kind of gross. Like flavored vinegar. Honestly it can **** your mouth up worse than some hotter sauces though, since you have to use so much to get any heat that it just sticks to your mouth and gives you heartburn. Of course it's been awhile since I stooped so low so it might not even do anything to me anymore. Avoid unless there's no other choice.

I don't find Texas Pete salty but a bit too sweet.
