How Many Spaces Go After a Period?
 

This is a very trying issue in the modern age. When typing, how many spaces do you put after you end a sentence?

A lot of people think it should be two and I'm all fired up about it.

You should specify in the title you don't mean the sort of period a woman has. People might get confused, and this could lead to some serious arguments with girlfriends. "But honey, he wants to know how many spaces you use after your period! No! Put my laptop down! Don't you dare..."

Could you live with the guilt of having caused such disharmony? Are you that much of a monster? I think we all know the answer.

That relationship sounds like it was already on the rocks, I'm probably doing them a favour by driving them apart.
