This is supposed to be a dad joke? It’s too long...

Dad jokes are never too long. That's why they're dad jokes.

You're never too long. Your journal entries though...

Short does not equal long.

I was referring to the time taken, not the (ahem) measurements.

This is a very trying issue in the modern age. When typing, how many spaces do you put after you end a sentence?

Frownland, whenever you have a pressing question to what is and what should never be maybe should ask Chula Vista. Two spaces is a type setter rule. However things have changed since their time. The type setter has gone the way of the elevator operator, and the elevator when has gone the way of the share cropper. I think when you use two spaces between a sentence when posting on MB the programmy thing (whatever MB uses) reduces it to just one space automatically and without your consent. The computers are taking over, it might be spaces today, tomorrow probably whole content. Anything controversial will be edited to meet PC standards. Metaphorically spaces are the camels nose in the tent. Thank you for bringing up this important yet overlooked issue. George Orwell predicted the future when he said "2+2=5" cause now with computers "two spaces = one space."

The real question here is, if you use a serif type, does that translate itself. I concur.

I had to use a typewriter in high school for our keyboarding class. I kind of hated that my accounting class was right next door. So we constantly had to hear the clicky clack and bell sounds.
