well this weekend i'm going to work it out where I don't have my car, so there's no possible way I'll be a designated driver i'm always amused when people run in to poles, it's entertaining as all hell. or fall down stairs, or ski down the stairs straight into a wall, or jump over bonfires and catch the bottoms of their pants on fire only to realize it well after they've landed. or pass out drunk and have a bunch of people doodle on their face with permanent markers. or jump off of roofs onto trampolines and shoot right over the edge.

You forgot sliding down stairs in krazy karpets when the staircase runs straight into a wall, as well as running across a 200 foot pond of thin ice, and J-walking across busy intersections as if it was a residential street, and mixing any liquid imaginable with alchoholic beverages, and walking into random backyards an scaring the **** out of an average canadian family in the middle of dinnertime... oh the escapades of last winter...

(actually some of that was the result of being high... but you get the picture..

haha the best is waking up after a night of heavy drinking and looking in the mirror to find new piercings you dont know about....... yes thats hapened to me too....

There was a commercial recently on television, where a man in the office receives a delivery of flowers. A woman notices, and asks if it is his birthday as they walk into his office. He sets down his bouquet amongst the several other arrangements that were delivered that day and says, "No, designated driver last nite."

This says a lot about his friends, and about him. And think of the flip side of this...The flower arrangements could have been going to a funeral, if someone sober had not been driving....Makes you pause for thought.

(The details may not be exact but you get the idea.)

ya i saw that comercial. actually pretty funny, i was at a friend's house and one guy there turned to me and said "hey it's you! oh crap you're not gonna want presents from us now are you?" but you're right, most of the time i'm just glad that my friend's are getting a safe ride home, i've had people close to me injured by drunk drivers (not killed though, thankfully) so on the whole I really don't mind in the least.

hah yea i cant drive yet so i dont have any designated driving problems.. but being sober around drunk people cant be quite funny. Especially guys because they do some pretty dumb/crazy stuff . girls get louder and more obnoxious the more they drink, that can get quite annoying.
