Stop calling JPGs on the internet "albums".

We need to come up with a new term for internet based photo collections other than "album". Albums should only be a physical object made from cardboard and paper.

IMO.

Too convenient for anyone to take a bunch of pictures with their iPhone, sign up on Facebook, and cobble together a bunch of photos of their dog, then announce "I just released my new album".

Great for the ego, not so great for the legacy of real albums.

IMO.

PNGs are newer than JPGs and therefore they are even worse.

TIFFS are way too big, and BMPs are the evil tool of Microsoft, so **** them. Anyone who uses TIFFs or BMPs should be castrated with a spoon (I don't recommend using it to stir your tea afterwards though).
