I even assumed that there'd go 10 inches on 1 foot, but nope. Why make things easy.

Haven't seen that movie in ages, but yeah, something probably went over my head there. I am short, so lots of things do.

What are you talking about? It's as non-arbitrary as you can get. It's a mathematical formula and never changes. One foot equals twelve inches equals thirty centimetres equals 0.3 metres...

I'm sure! My torso is so long that everything is always too short on me.

Today I'm changing in and out of multiple different outfits while pretending to do laundry because a couple of my cheap Aliexpress (it's a Chinese site that has everything; you can find decent quality things so long as you find good sellers with reviews and dig around enough) things got here, which could possibly be a part of a future halloween costume or something. Including faux raven feather epaulettes (they're attached to a shoulder/chest harness thingy that looks a tiny bit bdsm-y but mostly just goth) and a floor-length sheer black lace dress-- or nightgown?-- that I could possibly layer over something to create a Morticia costume. Oh and I got a bird skull choker as well.
