Looking at the temperatures for Halifax (where Q-Man is from I think) they don't look too different to England. Average highs are higher in summer.

Well sometimes it is hot, not often obviously but we get about ten days per summer when it is genuinely roasting (high 20s/low 30s).

But if it's sunny and the temperature is 15 or above then that's shorts weather for the Monkey

yeah, probably similar. live close to the water though so typically hottest we get is 25-28 with a decent breeze.
