Gotta get a big dog too. Great Dane, mastiff, Irish wolf hound, etc. I'd go with St. Bernards, but I'm biased as I've had several over the years. Nothing quite like a cow of a dog to make all others look like lap dogs.

Staffordshire Bull Terrier

These are the top three dogs.

Staffies are such lovely dogs it's just a shame so many people who shouldn't own dogs tend to have them and raise them to be Devil Dogs.

They do.

They are great dogs if cared for correctly. But they are very powerful and can be trained to be weapons, so every roadman in the Midlands gets one for the wrong reasons. A shame.

Well yeah of course, (I mentioned malamutes though; they're huge) although when it comes to big dogs I like ridiculous looking mixed breeds the most. And everyone knows that big giant dogs are the biggest lap dogs because they all seem to think that they're teeny tiny. Especially great danes. They're like big giant babies.

I know many don't like small dogs quite as much, and big dogs will always be my favorite, but I really love pugs and certain chihuahua mixes too. (an ex roommate of mine had some sort of chihuahua/terrier/cattle dog mix and he had such an amazing and weird little personality)

They're very gentlemanly I hear.

Also, all dogs are cool - unless they're ****ed up by their owner. I've always liked Rottweilers and German Sherpherds, but I grew up around ankle-biters like toy poodles and quite like them as well.
