Ever had a concussion?

Two nights ago I got up to take a whiz at 2:00 AM and stepped on a tennis ball that one of the two dogs decided to leave next to my bed after I'd fallen asleep.

Ended up knocking over my rolling laptop table using my forehead. Pitch black, lying on the floor with the table, my PC, one of my guitars, and a fan laying on top of me while I'm seeing stars and have blood running down my face.

Yesterday was pretty much the immediate shock of it all. Today sucked. My skull hurts like hell, I'm dizzy, nausious, unsteady, massive headache all day, and this morning it took me about 2 hours to do some work that normally I'd get done in 30 minutes.

Not my first, but a concussion in your 20s is not the same as one in your latter 50s.

Shit! That sounds painful. You going to be alright? Careful with those, with all the news happening over these concussions with the NFL, WWE, and some other companies they're a huge issue.

Go see a doctor.

And feel better.

There's really not much a doctor can do. It's all about rest, reduced mental strain, (and here I am on MB :D), and taking everything very SLOW!!!! Naps are the best possible RX at this point.

The doctor is more for preventive purposes than treatment. Haven't you ever heard stories about people suddenly passing from that kind of stuff? Concussions should not be taken lightly.

I get it. It's tough only having one car and Linda having to use it most of the time to earn minimum wages to help help us get by.

I'm good.

(if I pass I will creep the **** out of you DWV pretty much 24/7)

Aww man, life's rough.

Get well soon, Chula. Make sure to recluse yourself from any heavy lifting.
