But don't you feel bad for the animals? How would you feel if you were taken to a strange place, then stunned, the someone came and slit your throat so all the blood drains. Then chopped into tiny pieces and eaten?

Yes, this is how things are supposed to be.

What makes man so goddamned special enough to kill off all his competition for food?
Not only is that bad but after killing off all competition man gets all possible food stored so that other animals may go hungry and/or die.
Why can't man just live by the laws of nature??
I imagine I wouldn't have to be a vegan in Africa, things are natural there.

Something else I do is picture any meat on a plate as human meat and compare it as how we see it as wrong to distinguish the life of a human, who is an animal, whereas you see it fine to distinguish the life of another animal.

i'm sorry, why are you a vegan again? are you against killing animals in general or just against the conditions in which they live before they're killed?

names are of little importance, who cares if urban's a Richard? it would be the same if he was a Justin or a Maxwell... that's not related to anything whatsoever

don't compare people with animals, there are things that makes us different, like WE CAN THINK AND JUDGE FOR OURSELVES. we need animals meat to survive and that's it. animals can live without us, and come on, everyone knows we're not gonna start eating human meat and make cannibalism legal. that's just stupid. veganism sucks. you're not helping anyone by eating veggies all day. maybe your body, but it sure needs meat too. animals are killed for all those who eat them and you can't stop that

Right you are, but neither was the 10 page feud in my Veganism thread.
Tell her what she's won!

Okay, now let me take what you said after this apart, piece by piece.

Judge what, how to annihilate every species on the planet?
What exactly makes man so different from other animals?
The planet needs diversity to function.
And secondly, if you're so "pro-mankind" then wouldn't you recognize the fact that if man kills off everything so that only his food and his food's food exist, the smallest thing could destroy all mankind.
And seriously...being self-aware isn't that great....man's not going to be the only self-aware being ever on this planet.
If man didn't destroy other species but lived WITH them, then they too would evolve over time and become as self-aware as humans.
Gorilla, dolphins, and chimpanzees are already about to become self-aware and act as "individuals".

I think that's true. But man violates laws of nature by holding an entire species for himself to eat. This leaves none for other animals which eat that animal, which eventually die out or dramatically decrease in population.

Does everyone know that because that's what society says?
If laws tried and true for one thousand years were enacted so that your society said,"Yes, group A people must eat group C people, group C people must eat group B people, and group B people must always eat group A people"
What would you say then?
Everyone knows we're not gonna start eating human meat and make cannibalism legal?
Come on.

Yes, that was such a clever statement that I don't think anything I say will ever top that.

Hey, I'm a futurist, and maybe I'm not helping anyone now, but if more people join along then someday I might be helping every species on this planet and the planet itself. And yes, it does help my body which means I don't need meat. Many people have been vegetarians and vegans for years and they don't need meat. Whoever said that you need to eat animal flesh, kill unborn fetuses to eat the food they are born in, and drink the liquid filled with pus, chemicals, and hormones that female cows give to their babies?

Well my dear, it takes a weak salmon to swim with the current forever, but it takes a strong salmon to swim against the current.

Yes, I don't support the conditions in which they live or the conditions in which they are killed.
Animal welfare.

humans have souls. and the competence to think intelligent thoughts. thats why its not wrong to consume the flesh of an animal. while the conditions in which they are slaughtered are not exactly humane, its not as though theyre being tortured for the sheer fun of it. there is a purpose for the killing-- to provide food. not everyone can afford to live a vegan lifestyle. organic foods are very expensive compared to a pound of ground beef or a hamburger.
