Default jumping off of cliffs is fun

so, me and some friends went cliff jumping this weekend (along with lots of drinking). we spent all of saturday at the lake, screwed around on the little 20 footer, then went over to the real cliff, the 60 foot one (or 20 meters if that helps you visualize). me and two of the guys i was with went to check it out, and the other two went lower down and on the other side of the lake to take pictures. walking over there, i started telling my friends "yeah i'm jumping it" so of course after saying it, there was no way in hell i could back out. once we got to the top, a bunch of guys were already there. they asked the three of us if we were jumping it, and of course, i had to tell them yes, not wanting to wuss out. so there i am standing at the top of this cliff. I look down and see a tree i noticed from the bottom, this tree is massive, a good 50 feet or so, and i'm towering over the top of it. the fear of heights started to come back a bit, but remembering my claim earlier, i edged closer to the edge. i shouted at my buddy across the lake to make sure he was ready with the camera, if i was going to do this, i wanted to be damn sure it was documented. i backed of a few feet, psyched myself up, and then went for it. biggest rush i have ever felt in my life. i was in the air for what felt like an eternity, and i've never been so aware of the way my limbs and body was positioned. entering into the water, i was surprised that it didn't sting at all. again, probably the biggest adrelaline rush i've ever experienced. and the best part of it all, was not that my buddy got a sick picture of it, it was that half the guys standing at the top that said they'd jump backed down after i did it, i love when that happens. anyways, had a fun weekend, wanted to share it, now i'm out. moral of the story, everyone should jump off massive cliffs.

i'll post the picture once it's emailed to me, i cant remember if you can see the whole cliff in the picture, if not there were some other shots that show the whole thing. it doesnt look all that big until you see how small the people are in comparison.

20 meters man.....that is soooo high!!....the highest i've ever jumped into the sea was some 6-7 meters from a boat parked on the peer, i was 12 or summat at the time and it was soo high...it took me a while to do it and it also seemed i flew for too goddamn long but 20 meters is like bungee jumping, which i wouldn't do for a milion dollars, only if someone held a gun to my head......maybe.....
