Never played PES. Can't get over the lack of licenses, and I don't wanna be bothered to do whatever it takes to get the real teams/leagues in the game.

I think I'm gonna play around with things to see if I can't get things working better. If I can I might try again next Friday. Or tomorrow IDK assuming I still have power, cause there's a hurricane/tropical storm/whatever about to hit this weekend.
Maybe I'll give online StarCraft 1 a shot, but if it's lagging now then I can only assume the problem would be way worse if I'm doing an online game. We'll see. Quote:

So, I've been toying with my recording software settings, and I've reduced the lag a bunch, to the point that it's actually watchable, if still a tad laggy. Tried on Youtube Gaming, but the lag was actually worse, so I guess I'll be using Twitch for the foreseeable future. I'll mess around with some more settings to get everything running smoothly (hopefully), but I might give streaming another shot tonight or tomorrow.
Oh, and while testing Youtube Gaming I didn't set my stream to private and I think some random guy might have shown up and seen me in all my hairy, shirtless glory.

If nothing else it's evidence that getting viewers is much easier than Twitch. I was only on for about ten minutes after all. But the increased lag concerns me a lot more right now.

There's an option on Twitch under the settings called "reduce stream lag" or something along those lines that tries to make it so the chat isn't so far behind the game. Just a heads up if you plan on going with Twitch, because I feel like that would make a big difference. I've never used Youtube streaming, but I normally end up with a fair bit of stragglers stopping by throughout my streams.

Dudes, I think I've got everything working mostly great. There were a few moments of maybe split second lag every now and again last time I tried, but I've tweaked my settings even more and everything should now be almost perfect, but at least it's no longer laggy enough to bother anyone.
Since I'm drinking in preparation for movie night I'd like to do a live stream while drunk rather than wait for tomorrow when I'll be stone cold sober, so is anyone down for watching me suck at StarCraft 1 in a little bit? I'm thinking starting anytime between 5 and 6 so I don't run into movie night. You down?
