Most diet drinks use aspartame. Which is actually way more dangerous then sugar.

yeah, i know. i mean plus think of like ****ing white bread. i know it has high fructose corn syrup in it and i can only gamble that there's more chemicals in it.
it's just.. how many things do we consume daily and don't even think about what's REALLY in it and what it does?

and not just eat but like our shampoos and soaps and ****. wtf. almost makes me wanna go full hippie living in the woods running around naked and eating plants and ****. but of course i'm too used to my modern luxuries to actually do that.

It's a bit annoying, at the same time, people are living the longest life's they've ever lived. And that fact goes against the theory. But at the same time you could make an argument that if we cut off the chemicals we'd increase the living rate even higher. So who knows?

People are living longer because we are more advanced medically and scientifically.

So if you were to combine both elements, advanced medicine and chemical-free solutions, people would probably live for two centuries.
Assuming, of course, that the medical advancements are made without prescription drugs.
