You can put me down as a pub guy.

Occasionally I went to this unusual country pub, now sadly closed. It has an octagonal tower and a main bar that resembles a baronial hall. Rather incongruously, it was often full of bikers:-





Unfortunately you needed a car (or bike) to get there, but these places were nearer to hand and more often had the honour of my custom:
