Those are the only types of clubs I have any interest in. Specifically for the live music.

You can put me down as a pub guy.
Occasionally I went to this unusual country pub, now sadly closed. It has an octagonal tower and a main bar that resembles a baronial hall. Rather incongruously, it was often full of bikers:- Unfortunately you needed a car (or bike) to get there, but these places were nearer to hand and more often had the honour of my custom: .....

Liking them pub pics.
This one is one of the better ones just by me in Aston - https://www.tripadvisor.com/Location...s_England.html I used to go to one with my dad and sister when we were kids (obviously didn't drink), had a pool table, tennis court, bowling green and snooker hall but they knocked it down |

^ Thanks, M like M ! Those photos of "The Barton Arms" are excellent. What a shame that they pulled down such a beautiful building.
When I get a chance I'm going to put up some more pub pics I hope!

The Dog & Partridge was the best pub in Bolton, but some c*nt tried killing himself by driving into the wall. He failed in that attempt. It hasn't been reopened and it looks likely to remain that way.
Ye Olde Man & Scythe is the current boozer of choice after the D&P was tragically put to an end. 4th oldest Pub in Britain, and a hub of paranormal activity. I prefer pubs and probably clubs to bars. Bars need to make up their mind.
