Some of the expert DJ’s they get on those birthday broadcasts can teach you a thing or two whatever your opinion.
I know you're explaining it. I am not saying I have the strongest case either, but being a fan of guitar I willing to swim upstream like a trout during spawning season to make it.

Highly doubtful they would cause unless they are born on the same day, it's not really a problem. Seriously, how many Jazzbos are so into Robin Trower they would prefer him over Coleman?

And Barney Kessel was cool but you know...
Still they were there during the formation. Barney was on stage at Jack´s Basket Room while Ornette Coleman was in the audience taking notes.

jftr I am not saying Barney is greater cause he playing before Coleman. Just that he was part of the Jazz scene. A Jazz scene that was a part of Ornette's universe of his formative years before he went out to make his own universe.
I don't know if Coleman got anything from any guitar player. Basically guitar players take from horn players, not the other way around.

You can substitute seitan for steak, but you forfeit the blowjob and only get your taint tickled. Seems like a Lose/Lose situation to me, but whatever floateth thy boat.
