I'll admit, this situation feels like when the obnoxious, drunken douchefart finally leaves the party with his designated driver... Momentary relief followed by mild but perpetual boredom.

Definitely more boring. The dude is not only a ****ing riot, but he's an awesome forum muse. He inspires comedic gold from lots of members in their comebacks to his posts.

Plus every now and then he decides to get serious and ends up blowing my mind with his sincere perspectives on substantial subjects.

And the dude can take and give a joke better than just about anyone I've ever met in the e-world.

I'm starting a GoFundMe.com page so we can all pitch in and buy him the best "Forum Booze Filter" gizmo we can find. Either that or I'm gonna start rationing my Zoloft and sending some to him so he can take the edge off when needed.

Looking forward to the return of the tanned, somewhat lethargic, more overweight than usual, and totally chilled from a couple of weeks of vacation 'BAT'.

I called him a hero when I was stalking the forum. Went through Batty's posts and laughed plenty. While potentially offensive, it was blunt and refreshing.

Honestly I don't find Batty funny, no offense to those who do. I don't mind talking to him, but I'd hate to encourage him, because it's like smoking in a fireworks factory ... it's just blows up in your face. I have to come clean with this.

To clarify, I meant that he was perhaps using an alternative computer, not for monetary reasons, but so that the IP address couldn't be traced to his original account, in case he rejoins the forum under a different alias... I wasn't making a literal statement so much as painting a possible scenario...TBH I mostly went for it so I could have an excuse to work the word "shart" into my post; I never miss a shartportunity. :D
