I understand that, but we aren't talking about implementation, we are talking about if it is or is not a violation of equal rights. Or that's what I thought we were talking about.
I also think it arguably has less to do with denying parenting decisions and more to do the the overstepping of religion. I'd argue that if female genital mutilation was part of our religious standards it'd be legal here. |

Female genital mutilation is done for the specific reason of limiting a woman's ability to enjoy sex when the come of age for religious reasons as well as a male's dominance over the females in general. Equating the two is pretty ****ing stupid and a terrible way to try and make the point some of you are trying to make. |
