Pretty sure qwert was not referring to a hypothetical society but the one we live in Idk how you would derive otherwise from his posts

Only way you reach that conclusion is if you don't know what "inherently" means.

Yes i understand that and my point is the things you describe are an inherent quality of american society NOT black people, but if you wanna give ammo to all the white supremicists arguing that blacks are inferior than by all means keep ignoring my point. The framing of your argument is counter productive.

I think I found the mix-up.

You thought my point was that I was talking about race in general and how certain races are genetically inferior just based off of being born into a certain race but that's not what I was talking about.

I'm talking about about being a certain race within our current society and the systemic issues that are in place.

I think all that's happened is that DJ misread a post made by Qwertyy a couple pages ago saying that life isn't inherently more difficult because of your skin colour. That's what Dwn is trying to point out.

Thanks for posting.

I don't really see how anyone can disagree with anything she's said there. I have a lot of respect for her and the fact she was willing to have an open mind, and question her own beliefs.

And lol at that suicide point she made, she is correct and it (the counter to it) has actually been posted on this thread already.

Not a MRA issue exactly, but one that gets at the toxic masculinity elements of some of the discussions in this thread. I'm fortunately in a relationship at the moment, but I've had certainly experience long bouts of 'touch isolation' - this article puts into words so many of the nebulous things I felt during those times:

How a Lack of Touch is Destroying Men

If you think there's such a thing as "toxic masculinity" could you kindly f*ck off?

Cheers.

Which YouTube video did you hear about toxic masculinity from my man?
