If you makes friends, do you mind their status?
Today my colleague told me," if you want to make friends with others, don't tell them that you are an ordinary salesclerk. Or you would be despised and they won't make friends with you." I totally cannot agree with her. In my opinion, the most important aspect of a relationship is honesty but not status or cheat, if you want to find some genuine friends. What aspects of a relationship do you find most important? By the way, do you mind I'm just an ordinary salesclerk?

A lot of people have service jobs or work in retail. That is just how it is. A job is a job. I think it's better they know first off, cause if they are going to be petty about it wouldn't be better if they do it right away, than find out later how shallow they are?

That seems like a really shallow worldview, one I believe should have died with the confederacy. Anyways, I don't really judge my friends based on their backgrounds. I think it's really cool how we live such different lives yet have so much in common.
Social status shouldn't matter either, one of the things I hate most about the world is social acceptance and what's deemed right and wrong socially. Look, we're all going to die someday. Live your life without caring about these things. Whatever gives you happiness (within reason) you should pursue, without denying anyone else of theirs. |
People who judge based on hierarchical position in society/monetary standing can suck a fatty.

That sounds really stupid, most people have dumb jobs, has nothing to do with them. I think whoever said that was one of those kids who were sat in front of the TV too often as a child.

I don't mind people's status at all.
I do mind people apparently being members of some ****ed-up chinese terrorist cult though. |
You bigot. Terrorists need love too.
|
My bigotry fits nicely with me having 1488 posts.
|
Haha. What makes you think he's a terrorist anyway?
